January 2009

BBTelsys was featured in the January 8-14 edition of the Business Review Western Michigan. The article highlights the investment made to relaunch the company. It goes on to further discuss the services of BBTelsys. CEO, Roland Scott, is quoted saying, “Our range has been pretty broad so far. It comes down to can you, in this environment today, save the customer money?”

December 2008

BBTelsys held a ribbon cutting event on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 to introduce the company’s new focus. Advisory board members, employees, current clients, potential clients and VARs were all in attendance. CEO, Roland Scott, conducted a presentation on BBTelsys as a 21st Century Telecommunications Innovator.

Scott said, “While Michigan’s, and the nation’s economy continues to suffer, BBTelsys can offer technology that immediately affects the bottom line.”

Keith Brophy, advisory board member for BBTelsys, and General Manager for RCM technologies states, “The business world is changing more than ever, and BBTelsys is offering very timely mobility services. In five years, the business world will look and feel completely different, and BBTelsys is going in that direction now.”

September 2008

Azulstar featured BBTelsys as a technology partner in the latest press release announcing WiMAX service across West Michigan. Azulstar Inc., is a recognized leader in municipal wireless networking and intelligent transportation. "We are a perfect fit for this high tech service," said Roland Scott, CEO, BBTelsys. May 2008

In May we hosted 14 VAR's (Value-added resellers) at our new Orchard Vista location for a general training program on our services. We are actively looking for VAR's nationwide. If you are interested please contact us .

April 2008

BBTelsys was pleased to sign a joint marketing agreement with Aastra, one of the world's largest telecommunication equipment providers (they recently purchased Ericson's telecom equipment division). The company is known as a superior supplier of IP phones.

BBTelsys signed a distribution agreement for Nortel products. We are now a reseller of their new MSBG (multi-service business gateway) which manages the quality of service (especially voice systems) in a multi-use business network.
